The Day We Changed Eagle Cams
One day we were watching our White Rock eagle cam and one of the eggs was cracked! But there was no baby eagle-WHAT!? So Mrs. Davies told us that she thinks they're duds because the mother isn't sitting on the other egg and she also told us that she thinks we should change eagle cams. She found a new one where the eggs weren't hatched yet and the mother was sitting on them and now we watch it all the time!

Izzie Came to Visit Our Classroom
For the whole day she showed us her sketch book for her comic she is wiriting. It looks great. So everybody was fighting over her and asking her to draw them a picture. It was a pretty fun day and then she had to go home. :(

When Izzie came we started our fairy tale writing. Izzie came on the 12th of April. When she came she drew a dragon, a deer and a person and she showed us her drawings for ideas for our fairy tale writing.

Vacation
For April vacation most of the class was away. Ms.Bossman went to Florida, Sally went to South Carolina, Kate went to New York, some of the class stayed home.

We switched eagle cams roughly 3 weeks ago because both of the eggs were duds and one of the eggs was destroyed and the mother eagle and father eagle were NOT sitting on the EGGS.

Red Sox opening day
Today was Red Sox opening day.We got to go to the gym and bat.You could only go 3 times. If you went 3 times you only have 5 minutes of recess. But some people like me thought it was worth it.

We had a Goldilocks play before April vacation and the people who were in it were Dinah, she was baby bear , I was Mama bear , Daniel was Papa bear, Lauren was Goldilocks, Nataliah was narrator, Lamees was director. We had fun and our whole class loved it.

Multicultural Day
In May we did something called Multi Cultural Day. So we did 2 different things for 2 days. The first day we got a passport out of small brown paper and a staple on the top left corner and a paper even smaller shaped like a square and right in the middle there was a picture of a passport. So there were 11 different countries and I made it to 9. I missed China and Greece. So back to telling about the tables. It was cool because at every different table they had everything from that country. My favorite one was Japan because they had a toy you can bring home and they had a lot of toys I love. And Iran the continent was shaped like a cat. That's pretty cool don't you think so? I do. And Italy was cool because Ms.Venezia is one of the town names so if she goes to the town in Italy she can get a shirt with her name on it. That's pretty cool. And every station you go to you get a stamp in your passport. It was fun to get a stamp in your passport which I loved getting and showing friends how many stamps I got and I got the most in my class. And there were elephants you can make and some book mark made with glitter. I only got to the elephant but it was so fun to get stamps so I didn't have to to make the glitter thing. Oh and at Italy there were fun sheets, 2 of them. Now to day two. I know what you're thinking, oh no, not that long again. No it's not as long a story. So there was an African dancer and we sang African songs. It was fun and we got to stay a little longer and he taught us another song.

Goldilocks play We did the Goldilocks play beforE vacation. I was the narrator, Lauren was goldilocks, Dinah was baby bear, Lamees was the director and Sydney was mama bear and Daniel was papa bear. Everyone else was the audience.The play was a blast.When the play was over all of the kids clapped soo soo hard that it hurt our ears and that was the Goldilocks play that kids loved.

Red Sox opening day
On the Boston Red Sox opening day we wear the colors of the Boston Red sox uniform .The colors are red white and blue .The reason why we celebrate the Red Sox is they're the home team.The opening day part of it means spring training is over and the real season starts.Spring training is training for the players. They play practice games against other teams. They also practice batting, pitching, catching,and fielding too. In other words it's practice for the next season.

Goldilocks Play We did the Goldilocks play before vacation. I was baby bear, Nataliah was narrator, Lauren was Goldilocks, Lamees was director,Sydney was mama bear, Daniel was papa bear. We had a blast at the play. We first started in the reading group. We were reading a bunch of Goldilocks versions and Mrs.Davies found in the book room a set for a Goldilocks play. We opened it and looked inside. We practiced for alot of days. When we came in the next day we were surprised that we had the play in the day we came in . They loved it so much that they clapped soo hard it hurt my ears. It was a blast, awesome blast. We all bowed to the audience. They weere all happy. We all had an awesome day.

White Rock Eagle CamOn April 4th and 8th on the White Rock eagle cam the eagle had laid the eggs but they were duds but we did not know, so...we still wached the eagle cam. 43 days later the eggs did not hatch.
